WILSONVILLE, Ore. – The Oregon Health Care Association named Aleksandr Vinokurov Administrator of the Year for 2019.

Vinokurov serves as the Administrator at Avamere at Sandy, an assisted living and memory care community in Sandy, Oregon.

According to the OHCA, their award recipients demonstrate a commitment to quality care through their dedication to residents, staff, and the community-based care profession.

“I am humbled and filled with gratitude to receive the award as Administrator of the Year,” Vinokurov said. “Thankful for my team – it takes whole team to accomplish great things.”

Vinokurov earned an OHCA award alongside two other Avamere employees. Livia Thompson, Senior Life Enrichment Director at Avamere at Bethany, received the Enrichment of Life Award. Melissa Bruce, Vice President of Community-Based Care Clinical Services for Avamere, was named Nurse Leader of the Year for CBC.

Bruce, Thompson, and Vinokurov will be honored at the Annual Convention Awards Luncheon on November 20, 2019 in Portland, Oregon.
